This Policy explains how WebsyChat uses cookies and similar technologies on https://websychat.com and related apps.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use local storage and similar technologies for session security and product functionality.
2. How we use them
- Strictly necessary: authentication (httpOnly session cookies), security, load balancing, and fraud/abuse prevention. These are required for the Service to work.
- Preferences: theme (light/dark) and UI preferences.
- Analytics & advertising (if you Accept): Google Tag Manager may load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags to measure traffic and campaigns. These stay off until you Accept cookies (Consent Mode). Reject keeps analytics/ads storage denied.
3. Embed widget
The chat embed on Client websites may store a visitor identifier and session information needed to continue a conversation. Clients are responsible for disclosing this to their visitors where legally required.
